Daniel Baeq

Since the early age of 13, Pastor Baeq has pursued and received various ministry training. He worked as a missionary prior to serving at several local churches, and became Bethel’s senior pastor in Spring 2015. He is a graduate from Chung-Ang University (B.A.), Chongshin University Graduate School of Theology (M.Div), Fuller Theological Seminary (Th.M.), and is currently studying for a Doctor of Missiology (Ph.D.) at Trinity International University. He has two sons and two daughters with his wife, Esther.
Abraham Kim

Pastor Abe began serving at Bethel in 2015 as the EM College Pastor. In 2024, he began serving as the EM lead pastor. He is a graduate of Boston College (B.A.) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (M.Div). He and his wife Jen have three boys.
Tony Mershon
Associate Pastor of EM | Contact
Pastor Tony has been serving at Bethel since 2005 first as the High School Pastor (BYG) and then as the EM Lead Pastor (since 2011) and currently an associate pastor since 2024. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado (Boulder), Denver Seminary (M.Div), Westminster Theological Seminary (Th.M), and is finishing his Doctor of Ministry at Talbot School of Theology.
He and his wife Bommy have two children.
Peter Lee
Pastor of Young Adult Ministry | Contact
Pastor Peter started as a member of Bethel Church. After attending seminary, he felt called to serve in ministry as a bi-vocational pastor. He is currently serving in the Light & Salt ministry. Peter and his wife Yoon-Jin have three daughters. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology. In his free time, he enjoys wrestling, watching Jiu-Jitsu matches on YouTube, and reading. But, those things aside, the most important thing about Peter is that he loves Jesus!
Tae Jong
Associate Pastor of EM | Contact
Pastor Tae is a graduate of Washington Bible College and is completing his Master of Divinity at Capital Bible Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Sook, for over 16 years. God has also blessed them with three wonderful daughters. He faithfully served as Bethel’s GLO pastor (Grades 6-8) beginning in the fall of 2012, and transitioned to an EM pastoral role in August of 2019.

Shalom Kang

Shalom is currently serving Bethel Church as the assistant youth pastor for BYG. He grew up mostly in Southern California where he attended Talbot School of Theology, and moved to Maryland shortly after marrying his wife, Esther. Shalom enjoys playing basketball and volleyball, and watching K-drama with his wife.
