Salaam Center

The Salaam Center is accepting donations of:

  • Food
  • Hygiene items
  • Walmart or Aldi gift cards
  • Furniture and appliances

There are many individuals who also need help filling out forms and learning English.

Baltimore City Homeless Outreach

Monthly outing to Baltimore City on the third Saturday of each month. We meet at church at 9:30 AM for orientation, then depart at 10:00 AM to visit homeless shelters/destinations and meet and pray with the homeless. We return to church at 1:00 PM. We also need help making sandwiches and soup to hand out. Interested? Please contact Hyejin Cho to sign up or for questions.

Short-Term Missions

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be sending short-term missions teams until further notice.

 

Center for World Missions (CWM)

Annual Missions Conference: The CWM at Bethel has hosted an annual missions conference. Past conferences have focused on various topics such as urban missions, overseas missions, and mission work in North Korea. Past keynote and seminar speakers include Rev. Kyuboem Lee (pastor and former Adjunct Professor of Urban Missions at Wesminster Theological Seminary), Rev. Randy Nabors (former pastor and current Senior Staff Coordinator of Urban and Mercy Ministries for Missions to North America of the PCA), Matthew Lin (pastor and Adjunct Professor at Eastern University), Dr. Myeong-Gu Seo (Associate Professor at the Smith School of Business, UMD & Co-Representative of the Center for Business as Mission in Maryland), and many others.
