Local & World Missions
The Missions Ministry is committed to God’s call for His people to reach the nations for Christ. We strive to strengthen the local church in and through the areas of local outreach, short term missions trips, and care for missionaries.
Local Missions
Salaam Center
The Salaam Center is accepting donations of:
- Food
- Hygiene items
- Walmart or Aldi gift cards
- Furniture and appliances
There are many individuals who also need help filling out forms and learning English.
If you'd like to volunteer or donate, please email the EM Missions team.
Baltimore City Homeless Outreach
Monthly outing to Baltimore City on the second Saturday of each month. We meet at church at 9:30 AM for orientation, then depart at 10:00 AM to visit homeless shelters/destinations and meet and pray with the homeless. We return to church by 1:00 PM. We also need help making sandwiches and soup to hand out at 7:30 AM. Interested? Please contact Deacon Young Wook Chun for questions.
World Missions
Supported Missionaries
The missions ministry oversees support for several missionaries who serve around the world. We provide support through:
- Prayer
- Financial support
- Care and communication by small groups
- Raising awareness of their work to the congregation
If you'd like to learn more about how you can support our missionaries, please email the EM Missions team.
Short-Term Missions
The missions ministry organizes several domestic and overseas short-term missions trips during the year. In 2025, there were missions trips to Native American reservations in the Pacific Northwest, to Appalachia, and to Gambia. There are also missions trips organized through BYG (Bethel Youth Group) and the KM (Korean Ministry).
If you'd like to learn more about short-term missions trips, please email the EM Missions team.
